DAB+ receiver DABLan

DABLan is a DAB+ stereo receiver for remote listening and monitoring of frequencies precodified from user. The system is composed by a receiver and a software resident on a client PC (or smartphone, or tablet) that allows interaction. It can be phisically situated in a remote location.

The audio quality can be configured and changed at every connection, allowing hearing also with limited bitrates available.

For the installation and proper operation, DABLan needs:

Alimentazione da 230 VAC (alimentatore fornito di serie)
230 VAC mains power (power supply included)
Presa di rete RJ45 con accesso a rete pubblica TCP/IP
RJ45 cable connected in a TCP/IP public network
Antenna esterna: dipolo, direttiva o Log periodica
External antenna: dipole, directional or log-periodic antenna

The router connected to the public network must allow the port forwarding function. In the LAN, DABLan allows “auto mode” (DHCP + uPnP), and also static IP mode.

DABLan allows to create a list of frequencies on which control various parameters (RSSI loss, DAB info loss, DLS loss, audio loss) and to determine the concerning alarms.
DABLan and the alarms management can be customized on request.

In DABLan can be activated DHCP protocol (for automatic IP address assignment) and uPnP protocol (for automatic creation on the router of the port forwarding rules necessary for his communication). DABLan contains an SNMP agent and MIB database, for remote queries through SNMP protocol.
